Celebrate Community Blog Hop – Share a favorite recipe #EIDCC

Thanks to Pavarti Tyler over at Fighting Monkey Press for putting together this EID event. Check out the other bloggers and use #EIDCC to keep up with the posts.

Quick Drop Biscuit recipe from JOY OF COOKING - This is my go to recipe. Mainly because you can add anything to it and make it sweet or savory, depending on what you need. Why drop biscuit and not regular rolled biscuits? Because I’m lazy. :-)

2 cups flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
stick of real butter

Use a fork or Pastry Blender to cut the butter into the flour mix. I love mine but have used it so much I need a new one.

Done?
Add 1 cup of milk (any kind. I’ve even used powdered milk). And if you plan on adding cheese, garlic, herbs, spices… now’s the time to do it.
Mix it all together and use a spoon to drop it on a baking sheet. Pop in the oven for about 12 minutes.
If you want to make it sweet, after they’re done (still hot) drizzle a honey glaze on top and be careful, it’s addictive!
