I work with GMTA and they have a great community. They are the nicest people and in this case being nice got them screwed. The above Jose Vasquez is taking over book groups. He gets in as an admin and then kicks out all the other admins and takes over the group. Here’s a short list of groups he’s taken over.

He did take over GMTA but they had the group deleted. Unfortunately what he is doing is taking over your profile and impersonating you on Facebook. I’ve blocked all that I know of:

Jose Vasquez

Alexi Agosto

Catherine Mahoney

Kitty Bullard

They have set up new ones and are working on fixing it but I would block these people on FB ASAP! Especially if you are a member of any of the above groups. Kitty and Catherine are sending out personal invites. I checked the membership and there is a TON of Indie Authors in these groups. I would rather be safe than sorry and Facebook will take up to six months to block a fake profile.

Sorry to sound so alarmist but it happened to people I know and would hate to see it happen to more.
