Book Blub:
12-year-old Fezariu thought his mother died when he was little, but when his beloved stepfather dies the boy discovers she is alive and well – and working at the most famous brothel in all of Elenchera. When she cruelly rejects him it’s more than he can bear, and he runs away to join a band of ruthless soldiers for hire. The Merelax Mercenaries will fight for anyone who can pay them, no matter the justice of the cause.
Fezariu grows up among the soldiers and becomes one of them. He thinks his time with the mercenaries has hardened him. But a campaign in his old home town pushes him too far, and he discovers what really happened to his mother. Maybe there are some things money shouldn’t buy… and maybe it’s time Fezariu took his revenge.
Book Blurb:
Demetrius makes his first mistake when he lets his best friend Halcyon marry Eleyna, the love of his life, without saying a word. On the day of the wedding, he walks away from the Elencheran town of Dove’s Meadow and joins the army.
He makes his second mistake when the pirate Black Iris tricks him into letting dozens of men, women and children die in a fire. Demetrius is imprisoned in grief and disgrace.
But he can atone. The Black Iris is dead. The Ivory Rose has risen to the top of the pirates and is leading brutal raids on the coast. If Demetrius can capture and kill her, he’ll win his pardon.
And then Demetrius discovers the Ivory Rose is Eleyna. He must decide which will be his third mistake: losing his last chance at a pardon or destroying the one woman he’s ever loved.

I think they both sound interesting. I would read them both for sure
I just finished Fez so you’re good either way. Good luck!
Thanks for commenting, Amanda.
I think Coral and I prefer one book over the other but I hope readers enjoy both stories. I’m always happy to hear their thoughts
lol and why would that surprise you!
Fezariu’s Epiphany has an awesome cover. On that alone I would like to read this book. I’m due for surgery in Oct… I hope I win this
I hope you have a speedy recovery and good luck!
Thanks for commenting, Lynn, and for your kind words about the cover.
I hope your surgery goes well and you have a swift recovery
AWA because it has pirates! ARRRRRRRRRRGH
The pirates are so cool in that story!
I’m not sure about cool pirates but I hope readers perceive them as being a little bit different to the norm
I love that you keep giving away David’s books
lol without his permission!
Lol – it’s true. Every time I log on to FB I get a new update!
I keep going to bookshops and saying, “Do you want some copies for your store?” and they just say, “No, thanks! Coral provides all the ones we need and we get them for free!”
hehehe We’re on a first name basis.
WOW – what a great giveaway!
Thanks for commenting Alison
Either one would be great Coral I’ll trust your judgement or let David pick which ever you prefer.
Thanks for commenting Jessica. I know which book Coral prefers
Thanks again for running this – you know you have big fans in The Tweedlers. I’m getting the cats to work on a banner as we speak!
They’re using crayons as usual!
You can’t scare me with those cats. o.~
Thanks for running this Coral.
Really appreciate the overwhelming support for Elenchera
My pleasure. Payback for getting me to read epic fantasy! o.~
I’d really love to read Fezariu’s Epiphany! Oh…and CORAL ROCKS!!
I think A World Apart sounds very interesting.
A World Apart looks a little darker to me, hence it has more appeal.
I actually have Fezariu’s Epiphany already, so I would choose A World Apart.
Thanks for the giveaway!
A World Apart was my favorite of the two.
Don’t tell Mr. Brown though… hehe
From the summaries I think that A World Apart looks a bit more interesting to me. thanks for the giveaway!
