It got one star just because I like Michael Biehn. Having recently come across Roger Corman and his contribution to movies I was willing to give this a shot. It’s bad. At least Corman had one or two actors that had a spark of acting in them. Even the veteran Michael Biehn was wooden most of the time. The first part of the movie is slow and dull with gratuitous sex scenes (Why can’t women understand ‘man gaze’ and say no or at least have some input? It is 2012 or have we really not come that far?). I like a hint of logic and there wasn’t much in the story. I like Indie films but they usually have a purpose, this didn’t have one. The good scenes were disturbing but not gory. Another reason why I gave it two stars instead of one. The special features has a long narrative about how wonderful everyone is but I couldn’t help chuckling because if even ONE person had been critical and truthful in the planning stages this could have been a much better film.
